Job interview

I had my first job interview yesterday. I was a bit nervous and I became even more nervous when I arrived at the subway station and saw that they had changed the hours because of the usual
strike of the SNCF workers. There weren't as many trains as usual and I had to call and say that I'd be
half an hour to 45 minutes late. The company was really really far and with the strike it took me 3 hours and 16 euros to arrive there. I wasn't sure if they'd take me especially because they wanted to start the project from February but I'd be free from school :) by the end of March.
The guy who interviewd me was very nice. He had been a student in our university himself. Then another one came who introduced himself as the project manager. They asked me lots of technical questions, but I could convince them as I answered almost all of them. Finally they said they'd get me. Now it's up to me to reply.

Masterpieces of the Louvre

Sitting Statue of Ramses II

Psyche revived by the kiss of love - Canova

Chapiter of Apadana – Persepolis

The Victory of Samothrace

Code of Hammurabi – Babylon

Venus of Milo

.On the catalogue of the Louvre Museum available inside the museum, you can see small figures of the most famous antiques preserved there. Once I decided to go to the Louvre particularly to see these masterpieces.
It’s evident that the most famous one is the “Mona Lisa” or as the French call it the “Joconde”: I saw it. It’s awesome. But photography was not allowed. What a pity.
Find more info on these works of art in Wikipedia.

.I’ve been thinking of studying a bit of political and social science. Particularly I’m interested to read Samuel Huntington’s book, “The Clash of Civilizations”.

What's up in Chicago?

Millennium Park, Chicago, 12/01/2006

Millennium Park, Chicago, 07/02/2006

I saw the first photo in Yahoo! News yesterday. It must be really cold out there. I took the second photo when I was in Chicago this past summer. The giant metal bean was cute by then, and the weather was so hot.

I feel so unsure about the future. Am I gonna stay here in France next year? Will I be in another country? Or maybe I go back home. Who knows?
